CF Vests Worldwide has donated 13 Hill Rom and RespirTech Cystic Fibrosis vests to CF patients in Lebanon.
As some may remember, Mohamad, 20 years old, is a Palestinian refugee living in Lebanon, and has Cystic Fibrosis with a lung function of 22%. Currently, he has no access to any airway clearance device, and has only the most basic nebulized medication, which is intended to clear the secretions in his lungs.
The updated news I'm happy to disclose is that The Vest, graciously donated by Danie Dane, landed in Dubai this morning. It is currently scheduled to arrive in Lebanon on Wednesday.
I am very excited for Mohamad, as The Vest provides him an invaluable tool to maintain his health that he has never had before. It is my sincere hope the equipment is delivered to him in good and operational condition in a few days, as expected.
