CF Vests Worldwide has donated 13 Hill Rom and RespirTech Cystic Fibrosis vests to CF patients in Mexico
His mother's story shows her appreciation for all who have supported CF Vests Worldwide's mission of giving, in allowing him to receive a Cystic Fibrosis vest -
"The problem is the lack of specialists, knowledge and management of the disease, the lack of devices, the lack of interest in functions to provide a quality of life, since the hospital directors themselves have told me that "institutions will not spend more money on a child who is going to die.
The boy is currently 11 years old, has an acute exacerbation, with a pneumonic process . . . The child only receives care from a pediatrician, pulmonologist and endocrinologist. He does not find comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis centers, adequate devices, or follow-up with a nutrition specialist.
We are forced to ask for their support from countries that do grant, respect the right to health, defend the lives of children, have specialists and everything required to combat this unusual disease.
As a mother, the geographical space does not matter, I will continue to seek my son's right to health and quality of life, as well as clemency outside my country, for not having an answer in my own."
